The tutorial is carried out parallel to the lecture. Applied case examples are discussed in this tutorial. Due to the number of listeners there are three practice blocks in groups of 8 parallel exercises. Each group is offered for 30 participants. The dates for the exercises in each group are compulsory. A change between the groups is not possible. Application procedure and deadlines see below. Announcements during the semester will be made  in "OLAT".

Students will learn to display and to organize empirical data through  tables and graphs. They will learn to describe fundamental statistical parameters.

For each tutorial, the information block of the case studies are to retrieve under http://uibk.2fragen.de/statistik.php.  The case studies are to bring to the tutorials. Each participant must retrieve three individual case studies of  http://uibk.2fragen.de/statistik.php, and send the results to http://uibk.2fragen.de/statistik.php until 02.02.2014.

Participants receive a certificate of participation who attend at least two exercise dates and solve all three individual case studies properly.
