Fundamental overview about basic technolgies, processing, analysis and products. The summer course is announced in particular for the students/PhD-students of the members of the European Polysacchardes Network of Excellence (www.epnoe.org)
Formation of fiibres, cellulose chemistry and solution formation, fibres and textiles textile chemistry of cellulosic fibres, processing in textile industry, product properties, consumer oriented properties
The course is embedded in the activities of the European Polysaccharides Network of Excellence EPNOE (www.epnoe.org). A visit of production plant at Lenzing is part of the course.
