This course will run over the entire winter term period with two focus workshops. Once all participants are confirmed (usually by mid/end October) we will initiate an introductory phase directed at research and dissemination. All dates and deadlines for the entire semester will be communicated to the class once participants are confirmed. Registered and accepted participants will be contacted by email. Please submit your current email address when registering. Workshop I: November 5-10, 2012 Workshop II: December 3-7, 2012 Workshop tutorial times will be from 15 to 18 every day of the workshop. Mornings are for internal work in project teams. Workshop I will focus on an macro scale investigation of pioneering plants and other relevant species. It will result in a large scale visual translation. The appropriate media will be discussed. Workshop II will build upon these works and result in 50% written work and 50% applied and refined translation of research and application outcomes.
