Graduates of this seminar will be able to model partial differential equations in image  processing, to analyze them mathematically and to solve them numerically.

In this seminar we model and analyze partial differential equations arising in mathematical image processing. In particuar, we treat diffusion equations for image smoothing and image analysis.

Continuous assessment (based on regular written and/or oral contribution by participants).

Course examination according to § 7, statute section on "study-law regulations"
